The 2008 Ladder Competition at Boulder Woods starts April 6, 2008 and runs through September 28. October 5 is the Iron Man Competition. The Ladder events are intended to be a friendly competition, FREE to anyone who wants to play. The rules encourage players to challenge those with better scores to learn from their variety of skills and provide an opportunity to build new friendships. Scheduled Competition is Every Sunday in April through September 1st Game starts at 9:00AM -- 2nd Game 10:30AM (or after Game#1) or unless announced otherwise on this website or the Yahoo Group. Any scheduled competition not having a minimum of 3 players present will be cancelled at that time. Any other necessary changes to the competition schedule will be posted on the PinchotDiscGolf website or the PinchotDiscGolf Yahoo Groups site. To receive email notices of those postings, please join the Yahoo group. See homepage link. Challenges will be made up the ladder each game, starting with the player on the lowest rung. Everyone will have a chance to challenge someone or be challenged during each game. If no one is available (or willing) for you to challenge or to challenge you, after all other challenging is complete, you will be placed within the group that includes the next closest higher player. This will be a multi-way competition. The #1 ranked player must be available the 1st game every Sunday in order to keep their standing. If not, they will be immediately replaced as #1. This keeps the #1 position regularly available for challenge. Those arriving too late for their rung to be challenged (after challenges have been picked at scheduled competitions) will be considered to not have played in that scheduled game.
