Wendy
Laing is a writer and part-time housewife with a Master of Arts degree and
a teaching diploma. Her Masters project involved writing a book with an accompanying
thesis; the topic was Severance Packages: A Crime/Paranormal Novel and Exegesis
Focusing on the Electronic and Digital Publication of Creative Writing. Her
undergrad majors were Professional Writing and Communications, with electives
in Literary Studies & Sociology. A
"Jill-of-all-Trades," Wendy has worked as a teacher, a curriculum consultant,
a travel consultant, an airline employee with Melbourne International Airport,
and a professional dog trainer. Articles by Wendy have been published in The
Sunbury Times and The Anthony Warlow International Newsletter. In
2002, Wendave Audio Books commenced producing audio versions of Wendy’s books.
Wendave is a truly global Internet enterprise, with a production team and studio
(including the talented voice actress Amy Howard-Wilson) in Petersburg, Virginia,
and publishing, sales and promotion departments in Victoria, Australia. The audio
books are a labor of love and an exciting project.
A member of the Fellowship of Australian Writers, Victorian Writers Centre, Lifetime
Alumni Member of Victoria University Member of EPIC and EPRO, and a member of
Sisters in Crime, Wendy lives in the rural Sunbury area of Victoria, Australia
with hubby Dave and her four-pawed family--Kynda, a Labradoodle who thinks she's
a person! |
