What? The V-Star is now a Drag Star?

The above shows the current status of my Yamaha V-Star er... uh... "Drag Star".
Update **** I sold this bike to a gentleman from Houston. So, you Star Riders in Houston, look out for it down there! A great bike, but just too many in the stable. **********
I added the Drag Star emblems that I purchased from a Yamaha Dealer in the U.K. I also added the new horn in place of the old air cleaner to fill in that space vacated when I installed the Maxair kit. I also added risers and a tach. The last thing will be a better seat to complete this really great cruiser.

This page shows my V-Star 1100 getting some new Hard Krome Xcellerator pipes and a Motorcycle Enhancements Oil Filter Relocator Kit.

At the start of the day

With the stock pipes. My bike was basically stock, and the sound of the stock pipes was boring!

On the lift

Pipes are off on the new Sears lift (bought on sale!)

Xcellerators installed - and are they loud!!! Awesome. Tomorrow the MaXair kit goes on.

After about 4 hours, the Maxair kit is installed - and what a difference!!
