President Tony Pizza called the meeting to order at 10:40 a.m.  Attendees: Tony Pizza, Carl & Dukie Bailey, Marilou Balangue, Bob Willis, George Ramirez, Juanita Davis, Mary Ellen De Luca.

Minutes read and approved.

Treasurer Carl Bailey reported checkbook balance of $3596.74 + &25.00 petty cash.

1st V.p. Juanita Davis reported membership stands at 863. She has had good luck with reinstatements. The members appreciate the badges. Ask a member who doesn't attend to come to a luncheon meeting.

2nd v.p. George Ramirez will send an article to the Star about the meeting and the BBQ. He doesn't know yet if representatives of Capps and Gallegly will attend the BBQ. Beatrice Loesch and Norm McCracken have been invited also.

Marilou took in 27# of food to Food Share from the General Meeting.

Juanita said that we will have a reserved table for guests but they may sit where they wish.

Tony received an invitation to the NSWSES Alumni Meeting. Unable to attend. No current info to pass out. There will be a Health Fair at the base in the fall, which we should aim for. Need recruitment materials.
