The Neville
Household is open to anyone 16 and up who has a serious interest in the
medieval period. You must be at least 18yrs old to fight, but that
doesnt mean there arent other things to get involved in. We work to develop
period clothing, weapons and armour.

28, 2007 Augusta Medieval Day
Due to
the cancellation of the Treasure Renaissance faire we have decided to hold
our own event. This will be a joint event of the Neville's and the Augusta
Rec Medieval Society. It will be a day of live steel and boffer tournaments,
archery shoots, music, games crafts and anything else one wants to bring
to the event. This event will be open to the public as well so they can
check out what we do and see if it is a hobby they may want to get involved
with. The event will end with a potluck feast . !!
When: July
28th 10-5 pm (registration starts at 9am)
Where:
Buker Center 21 Armory St Augusta. To be held in the back sports fields
Admission:
Free !!
As stated
this event is open to all. Please come and check us out.
If you wish
to be involved in the event please let us know. We can always use performers,
musicians, jugglers etc etc. Let's make our own "ren faire" atmosphere
and have a good solid day of medieval fun !!!!

New Hampshire Renaissance Faire
We have been asked to come back
and be the fight group for this faire as well. We will do pretty much the
same as we did last year. This will be a camping event for Neville members.
Hopefully we will not see rain again !!!! Pleasae click on link below for

Augusta
Recreation Medieval Group
We are currently
holding meetings the 1st and 3rd Wed of each month at the Buker School
, 21 Armoury St in Augusta from 6-8pm. These meeting consist of various
kit making workshops and fight practice. this group is open to anyone 16
yr and up.

Knighting
I would
like to announce the Knighting of Sir Nathaniel at the NHRF. Sir Nathaniel
has been a squire in the Neville Companye since the beginning and because
of his commitment, cratfsmanship and dedication to the group we bestow
this honor upon him.
Medieval
Faire 2007 Augusta Maine
We will soon start planning
for a medieval tournament/faire to be held in Augusta in conjuction with
the Rec Dept group. This will be a community faire. We invite other medieval
groups, artisans, vendors, musicians, performers to participate. Most likely
this will be a free faire open to all so it will be all volunteeer. We
hope to offer boffer tournaments, wood and live steel. Other groups are
welcome to come and do demo's to showcase their groups as well. The idea
is to be able to help promote the reenactment hobby and let people know
about the different organizations out there. (Neville's, SCA, Larps etc).
We are looking for ideas and folks to help plan the faire . We have the
site already and approval and now just need the planning part..If you are
