About Newberg Area Habitat
Our Mission Statement
The Newberg Area Habitat for Humanity works in concert with Habitat for Humanity International in a ministry of love to meet the basic need for affordable, safe, and respectable housing. Founded in the Christian faith, we welcome people of all creeds and beliefs who are seeking to love their neighbors in a tangible way.
We will work with the city and county governments, churches, civic organizations, neighborhoods and others to make Habitat for Humanity an integral and valued part of Newberg and the surrounding area. We will inform citizens about the impact of substandard housing on all of its citizens and how participation in Habitat for Humanity benefits the poor and affluent alike. We will serve as a bridge between the diverse cultures and diverse people of this community.
