This Month in our club

News from the House Committee

The house committee has been giving a lot of thought to the room rental fee for the grill room. We all agree that members should have special privileges for this room. We have decided that if a member wants to use the grill room (which is $60 to rent) they must put the $60 down as a deposit. They will be responsible for setting up the room and cleaning up after their party. If this is done to our satisfaction they will get their room deposit back.

All parties will now be booked, temporarily, with Peggy Kelly. This goes into effect immediately.

The A-List Band

The A-List Band will be here, at the Elks Lodge, to play your favorites on Saturday, May 31, 2008.

There will be food available and drink specials. So come out for a good time and have fun.

Book Lending Library

A "Book Lending Library" will soon be set up at the Elks Lodge. If any members have books they would like to donate they can drop them off at the Lodge. Also if anyone has a bookcase they would like to donate, contact Pat Dettinger @ 297-6256

Once established, members will be able to borrow books from the library.

Periodically books will be "retired" and given to local organizations like veterans, nursing homes, etc.
