On the Cumberland Subdivision from Point of Rocks, MD west to Shenandoah Junction, WV:
- A CSX train headed west from the Old Main Line past the Point of Rocks station.
- The entrance to the west-bound tunnel just west of Point of Rocks.
- A west-bound CSX train coming out the other side of the Point of Rocks tunnel.
- An east-bound CSX train at Shenandoah Junction. The bridge above
the CSX line is a single-track Norfolk Southern railway line.
- A west-bound CSX train near Weverton, MD.
An excursion from Union Station in Washington DC to
Harrisburg PA along the Susquehanna River on July 5th, 2003:

- Our train had three engines. The first two are restored
Pennsylvania railroad round-nose PRR E-8s. The engine on
the right is an Amtrak engine used to power the electricity
aboard the train.

- We passed by several dams along the Susquehanna.
- The train also made several river crossings.
- A beautiful sunset.
This is a CSX train on the New York Central Line
from Albany to Buffalo near Weedsport NY during October 2002.
A July 13th, 2002 visit to the
B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore MD:
- Inside the wheelhouse, it's engine 592.
- Got nothing on engine 57.
- Good ol' engine 1.
- Here I am standing at the controls.
- Western Maryland caboose 1803.
- We took a ride on Western Maryland engine 236.
- Chesapeake & Ohio passenger car 723.
- Those are some big a** wheels!
- Baltimore & Annapolis caboose 1984.
After the museum, we drove to Sykesville to have dinner at
Baldwin's Station:
- The tracks come this close to the restaurant.
- CSX trains sometimes come by the restaurant.
Traveled on the Potomac Eagle on a 3-hour roundtrip from Romney WV on
October 21st, 2001.
