Normal indoor rules are in effect with the following exceptions:
Walls are out of play. A ball hitting the ceiling is playable if the ball comes down on the same side of the court, but is a point for the opposing team if it falls on the other side of the court.
Extra players are rotated into the serving position only.
A second service line will be available for those who can not yet serve from the normal position. Those players who are able to serve from the closer position may be required to serve from the normal position at the referee's discretion.
Abuse of balls or language may result in a point for the opposing team.
A stray ball on a court should be called out immediately (BALL ON!!!). The current point is replayed.
A referee's judgment call is final. A technicality can be clarified.
Scoring: Up to 3 games to 30 points are played with 'rally' scoring. Teams must win by 2 points with no cap. If time runs out, the last game is won by the first team to reach 15 points. |
