With Open Hearts and Open Minds Loving God and Loving Neighbor

We Minister to the World and the Community Through our support of our denominational world and regional missions activities, which include special emphases and offerings for those in need throughout the world and in our local region. We also support the Yakama Christian Mission, The Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, The Salvation Army, the Food Bank and other needs in the community as they arise.

We Minister to the Local Congregation Through worship services on Sunday mornings, which includes Communion every Sunday following the practice of the early Christians in the New Testament. Children and Youth are valued in our church and worship services. There is a special Children's moment during each worship service. The Elders take communion to the Shut-ins and hospitalized each Sunday. There are other opportunities for fellowship during the year, including honoring birthdays, honoring those graduating from high school and college, summer picnic, chili feeds, Dinner Theater and various potlucks. The retirees meet the Third Wednesday of each month for a shared lunch and special program or trip. The breakfast bunch meets at Denny's on George Washington Way every other Thursday for breakfast and fellowship. Disciples Women's Fellowship meets monthly for study and service projects.

We Minister to the Individual The Pastor and Elders are available for counseling, or just "listening." The Care Team provides help to those who are ill or hospitalized with transportation and meals. The Prayer chain is always active to remember those in need of prayer.
