Sandy Spring Museum Shop partners with Jewish Museum of Maryland for Holiday giving season
(Sandy Spring, Md.) The Sandy Spring Museum proudly announces a pioneering collaboration with the Jewish Museum of Maryland this November and December. Now through the end of December, gorgeous Judaica, books for children and adults, menorahs and candles, dreidls, jewelry, and gifts for Hanukah have joined the regular selection of high-quality craft goods available for sale at Sandy Spring Museum. For its part, The Jewish Museum has on display for its visitors a large selection of Sandy Spring Museum Shop's handmade artisan and craft goods.
Both museums see this collaboration as the beginning of a partnership that can grow in the coming years. We are delighted to bring a little bit of Baltimore out to our own neighborhood, and to support Hanukah celebrations in the greater Sandy Spring community. People interested in exploring the Jewish Museum offerings are most welcome to visit The Sandy Spring Museum Shop, which is open all regular Museum hours (M, W, Th 9-4, and Sat/Sun 12-4.)
The Museum Shop will also be selling a new item -- 2010 calendars featuring historic photographs from our collection. Stop by and let us know what your favorite images are!
The Museum is located at 17901 Bentley Road in Sandy Spring, right off 108 and just across from Sherwood High School. Please be in touch with any questions by phone at 301-774-0022 or via the web at www.sandyspringmuseum.org.
