The 2001 season upon us. The Storm have finished their WPSL season with a six wins, four losses and two ties. Congratulations on another winning season!!.

In 1998, the Storm joined most of the Western Division of the W-League to form the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL).

A number of 2000 Storm players were drafted so far in the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) Inaugural Draft. So far on 10-11 December 2000, Gina Oceguera [San Diego], Emmy Barr [Washington], Lisa Nanez [Bay Area], Justi Baumgardt [Washington], Tara Koleski [San Diego], Erin Martinez-Montoya [San Diego], Christina Bell [Bay Area], Lindsay Massengale [Boston], Laurie Hill [Philadelphia] and Melissa Ribaudo [San Diego] have been drafted.
