A little bit about my poetry writing: Growing up in the south, influenced by Appalachian storytellers and traditional rhymed poetry, I have tried to instill both of these in my love for writing. Preferring to tell a story or capture a moment in time than jump on the free verse and avante garde bandwagon, my poems are written for nearly anyone to understand. Though my current focus is on short stories and creative writing, I still turns out the ballads and verse occasionally. You can always find my latest on my updates page.
