Hi there, I'm Paul. I guess if
you're on this page, you are wondering who's the guy behind the writing. Well, let me tell you ;)
I'm a 43 year old poet/writer from Southwest Virginia and I've been
writing (mostly poetry and song lyrics) for over 20 years. In 2004 two
of my poems were published in the book "Turning Tears Into Words", and my poem
"Procession Of The Elves" was featured in Autumn 2005 edition of The Minas-Tirith Evening
Star, a publication of The American Tolkien Soceity, who have published other of my Lord Of
The Rings inspired poetry. In addition,
my humor fiction and capsule commentary have appeared in "When The Music Feels Like
This", an online newsletter put out by fans of Australian Pop singer Darren Hayes.
My first book, a ghost story/ mystery thriller entitled
"Resurrection Diaries", is planned for a Halloween 2007 release.
A little bit about my poetry writing: Growing up in the south, influenced by Appalachian storytellers and traditional rhymed poetry, I have tried to instill both of these in my love for writing. Preferring to tell a story or capture a moment in time than jump on the free verse and avante garde bandwagon, my poems are written for nearly anyone to understand. Though my current focus is on short stories and creative writing, I still turns out the ballads and verse occasionally. You can always find my latest on my updates page. Although my main love is writing, I am passionate about many things. You can find most of my interests listed on the left side of this page, with links to take you to see what I like so much :) If there's anything else you'd like to know about me or my work, feel free to drop me a line . I welcome all correspondence and you can write me here @*gnaghi99@yahoo.com* You can also check out "Paul's Blog" if you like :) This is my yahoo 360 page, with my blog, links to my webshots album, and other stuff. I am also on the ever popular site myspace, sandwiched alphabetically somewhere between AFI and Belladonna. So come see me and add me as a friend or favorite at "Paul's MySpace Page". And hey if that isn't enough, there is my absolute favorite place to hang out, "Paul at Writer's Cafe" By the way, that's not a picture of me at the top of this page, lol. This is me... ![]() Well, if you're through reading about me, just hit your back button to return to the page
