"Angel On The Shore"

Angel On the shore
looks out over the waves,
meanwhile I adore
the one I cannot save.

Tick tock of hours,
spent in the passing lights,
slowly devours
the day that fades to night.

Can't she hear me call,
within her sad distress,
catch her if she falls,
and clutch her to my chest.

Out from the ocean,
I pull her else she drowns;
There is no motion,
nor a heart beating sound

On her mouth my kiss
resurrects her love,
the ties that bind twist,
in ways that she dreamed of.

Angel on the shore,
not alone on the sea,
she is safe forevermore,
in the arms of me.
