Broken. The name conjures up images of objects rendered
useless. A swing whose chain has broken, a toy car missing a
wheel, a door fallen off its hinges. But it's not only objects
that get broken. Sometimes it's people, relationships and lives.
Sadly, life is not always pretty. In our modern soceity, broken
families, domestic violence, child abuse, suicide, and depression,
seem more common than the compassion and harmony that should exist
within our lives. In this section, you will find my works which
unfortunately reflect this sadder side of life. Some of the themes
in the following poems may be of a sensitive nature to some readers, so do
read on with caution. It is not my intent to offend but to enlighten
that such things exist and cannot be ignored by soceity. Let us fix that which is
broken...
