"Great Big Emptiness"

In the world which I live in
There seems no place for me
Just a great big emptiness
Where I used to be
Through the hurt and anger
Some by my own hand
I lost the boy I was
Yet still I'm not a man

Holding hands with shadows
Dancing with reflections
I remember who I was in you
With warmth and affection
I wonder can I ever find my way
Through the tears done cried
To be the person I used to be
When I was in your eyes

Maybe I'm just a victim
To my own tortured soul
And now seeing where I've been
I don't know where to go
In the world which I live in
There seems no place for me
Just this great big emptiness
Where I used to be
