"Madness At The Gates Of Summer"
Madness at the gates of summer
Where elves and their wives tread
Lies a tale when the world was younger
That left many dying or dead
In tragic song and remembrance
We honor those that set us free
So that we children of the high elves
Could one day find the sea
In the coming of the sunrise
We shall always remember the brave
Who slew the dreaded balrogs
All for our families to save
High Lords and elven captains
Brave ladies of the Simaril
Fought and died for the future
On Amon Gwareth hill
Some fell deep into the chasms
Never ever to return
And the valiant led our people
While dragons the city burned
But from the most highest peak
The King of Eagles came to our aid
And we escaped Morgoth's anger
To rest at last in vale and glade
...and there we paid high honor
To those whom saved our lives
Now lost in all but legends
The last heroes and their wives...
