I find myself staring at the screen
waiting for your words,
anticipating those moments
I can spend with you
like lovers on a summer's day
without another care in the world
except the moment.

Then comes the first hello,
Usually followed by words like love
Or an emoticon smile,
And I too find myself smiling
Uncontrollably,
with a love in my heart
that would be best expressed
upon your lips.

Sometimes we talk for hours
and other times just minutes,
but it only takes a second
To say I love you,
and these seconds are
my most favorite of all,
