2/16/08 Even Bigger news! Resurrection Diaries is now available online through several major retailers, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Borders, and Target. You can also get your local bookstore to order it for you, as well. Get all the details by clicking "here" or visiting the Resurrection Diaries section of this site.Initial sales of this book are doing better than I expected, and so thanks to all who have purchased it already. Without the support of readers willing to buy the book I probably wouldn't be able to move forward with my next publishing project. One thing I have noticed about the people who have read it already is their excitement in telling others and helping to get the word out.All your help and support doesn't go unnoticed. And if you haven't taken the plunge and bought your copy yet, what are you waiting for? Get yours today ;) Well with all the diaries promotional work I have been doing, the rest of the site here hasn't changed much and nothing has been added. I am still undecided on whether I want to leave all these pre-diaries writings up, so hey if you are coming on and actively reading my work, please let me know. If these musings of mine are still being read that's cool, but if not, hey we'll make room for other things ;) Until next time, best wishes and happy hauntings! 12/06/07 Big News!!! "Resurrection Diaries", my debut novel, a tale of supernatural suspense about ghosts, murder, and a haunted church, is now available for purchase. Currently available through lulu. com you can order it by clicking on the book image below. Signed copies are available but to purchase one you must send an email to resurrectiondiaries@verizon.net to order. The signed copies are not available through lulu. So what are you waiting for? Get your copy today before it's in the major bookstores the first of the year!
09/15/07 Now open! A brand new section of the site called In The Works. In this section you will find works that are in progress or ongoing projects for your perusal or critique. These are first drafts or longer pieces that I wanted to get out on paper where I could see it in its proper form. Hope you enjoy these sneak peaks, and if you read something that strikes your fancy, drop me an email and tell me to get with it ;) The first two ongoing projects are "Belle & Breakfast" and "The Time Of Their Deaths". Two stories that are very different from another, one being a romance, the other being my usual foray into the spirit world. Go take a look and tell me what you think ;)09/06/07
Announcing a new section For Resurrection Diaries is on site now. Created by Karen
with the amazing photography of Albina Sveda, the whole look of this section reflects
what the finished book's cover will look like. We are currently moving on schedule
to see it published by the date we planned. Keep your fingers crossed we can get it out
and in your hands this Halloween! In the meantime, check out the new section, or join us
on my space. 06/20/07
Wow, Has it really been 5 months since I last updated this site. Man, time flies ;)
With all the places out there on the web to interact with others (friends, fans, etc.)
I kind of lost track of my original spot on the net. But hey I'm still in the process of
getting this thing the way i want it, and in the days ahead expect all kinds of
exciting news, photos, writings, and more. Thanks to everyone who hangs out with me in
other places, like yahoo and myspace. Your kind words, comments, and conversation truly is
a highlight of my day. Bless you all!

I have been a member of Writer's Cafe for awhile now, and it is where ALL my
latest writings show up for other writers and readers to rate and comment on.
Below you will see the link to my latest writings, and from there can view all
my stories and poems that are there for comment and critique. Note to friends
and fans: the complete "Resurrection Diaries" and "Advocate for the dead" books
have been removed as I'm hoping to publish them in print form soon. However, you
can still help in the creative process of my latest book length tale, Belle &
Breakfast, a romance, by leaving your comments, critique, and/or suggestions.
10/06/06 Continuing the restructuring of my site, two more sections of poems have been modified to share the black/white look of their prospective index pages. Again, some of the poems have been removed to make the site a little more simpler to navigate through, and what remains are the pieces I consider my favorites in those themes. In addition if any of the poems have been published in print I have made a notation after the copyright notice on the individual poem. Okay, so the modified sections are "Broken" and "Fairy Tales", so if you've never browsed those sections before please click the links on the right and go take a peek. I apologize that there are no new additions to the site today, but I have a lot of exciting things I'm working on, so stay tuned! 9/25/06 Hello everyone, the restructuring of my website here has begun. Two sections are complete now. "I Dream Of Romance" & "Of Family & Friends". Though it may not look that different, a chunk of writings have been removed, and hopefully what remains provides a look of what I believe to be my best work in those areas. Regular visitors will notice a big change to the poetry backgrounds. Gone are the pretty backgrounds, now replaced by the basic black and white that the rest of the site shares. Hope you enjoy the change, and if you have found your favorite poem has been removed from these sections, just drop me a line and say, "hey, what did you do that for, dummy?" ;) You can find the email link on the front page if you need it. There is one new poem among all the restructuring. "Poem For A Troubadour Angel" was written in memory of my dear friend, Carl Barbour, who was like a second Father to me. Mr. Barbour passed away from this painful life recently, and it was my great honor to read this poem at his funeral for family & friends. Carl, known as Sonny to his friends was a great encouragement to me, both creatively and individually. He will sadly be missed, But I know heaven has a sweeter song with his prescence. On a creative note, and a bit of self promotion, my ghost story 'Resurrection Diaries' now has a home on myspace. In an effort to attract the attention of potential readers, and hopefully a publisher, the diaries has a profile there, and I encourage you to take a look. if you are a myspace member please add the diaries as your friend and help support this project that has taken so long to bring to fruition. I have just finished what i hope will be the final draft, and am now ready to get this thing moving. The myspace page has had over 600 views, and boasts nearly 150 friends in its first month of being online. Please click on the banner below and come visit us. ![]() Okay, so that's it this time. More changes and additions to come, so stay tuned :) 7/05/06 Another new story added to the mix. "The Unforgotten" is a different take on a popular urban legend tale you may have heard before. 7/03/06 Wow, I have really been letting this site languish in cyberspace, so it's time to get with it and kick things off again. The first bit of news is you no longer have to rememeber that tricky url to get here. Now you can access this page simply by remembering my name ;) Just type www.paularonson.com into your browser and here you'll be :) Hmm, I must be moving up in the world, lol.Hopefully We'll have changes coming down the line soon, but one of the first ones
was to redo the short story section since fiction is my big thing nowadays.
The graphics are the same, but now if you look at the story link there is a brief
description of each one. I hope to also add in the future sneak previews of my
long form stories as well. Moving away from stories and back into the poetry thing, there are two new ones to read today. "As I Was In Summer" is a man's inability to get over someone in this tragic piece, followed by one of the more strangest poems I've written entitled, Open Door. I think I was trying to Channel the spirit of E.A. Poe with this one ;) Okay so that's it for today. There is still more to be done here, but we'll get to it later. be sure to bookmark the site so you can come back. And remember www.paularonson.com we're open 24 hours :) Okay gang , see you on yahoo and myspace! ~Paul~ |
