"Off The Page"
The best thing about me is you;
Everything I hope to be is in your eyes
when you're looking at me,
and every place in the world I want to go
is right here with you
inside the comfort of your arms;
You tell me I never run out of words
but you're wrong,
for when your lips are on me
I forget everything I want to say,
and I melt in your embrace,
wanting nothing more but to stay here
just like this,
feeling you so soft against me
and knowing that I'll want this again;
The taste of your skin on my lips,
the touch of your hair 'tween my fingers,
the feel of your breath on my neck;
What more could I possibly want
than to be with you and tell you
that "I Love You" has moved off the page,
and now falls upon your lips
from my own.
