"Waking Up The Trees"

Waking up the trees
The elven folk did stand
In the place of memory
Where now walks cruel man
Giving the woods voice
To talk amongst themselves
The ents did awaken
To the language of the elves
And speaking in their tongue
They created wooded lives
Singing come, come away
To their ent girls and wives
And I wonder if the trees
Still talk when men are still
And when lovers are among them
Is nature's dream fulfilled?
Waking up the trees
The elven kind made a choice
To give the forest beauty
And every leaf a voice
