"I Wish There Was Magic"
I wish there was magic
She whispered with a sigh
Then I would make a secret place
For only you and I
A mystical land of wonder
Where the weeping willows sing
Not of tears and sorrows
But of all the beautiful things
Fruit trees so abundant
Every day a new flavor to taste
Where every word means something
And nothing's left to waste
Unicorns ride and graze
In fields of the fae
And you and I can fall in love
Again and again with each new day
Exotic birds flit through the trees
Flowers of every color in the grass
Even the sun and moon make love
Softly in the sky as they pass
And behind a waterfall
Crystal clear against the stone
We can forget where we've been
And make for us a home
By a pond bordered by cattails
I promise to forever love you
I wish there was magic
Just enough for two
