The Tiger Cub program is for boys either entering 1st grade or 7 year old and their adult partner. They will cover topics from 5 major units. Each unit is broken down into 3 sections. These three sections are: Family, Den and Go-See-It. The five units are:

The Tiger uniform is the standard Cub Scout blue button down shirt. The Tiger Cub will will mark his progress by earning beads in each of the 5 units. One bead for the 3 sections within each unit. The Tiger Cub will earn the Den bead for a unit by participating in the Den meeting. He will earn the Go-See-It bead by joining the den for an outing (a Go-See-It) and he will earn his Family bead by participating in an activity related to the topic of the each unit. They will wear the beads on a totem that attaches to their shirt pocket button.
