How time flies!
Cigar Heritage Fest is almost here and it's hard to believe the year is almost over. The last three months brought a plethora of great cigar events, including Oliva's Cain, CAO, Perdomo, Torano, Fuente, and many more I can't recall, to remind us that cigars are not going anywhere, no matter how much the Pleasure Police tries to interfere  with our right to enjoy the good things in life. We'll continue doing our part to show up at the events to support our local tobacconist, even when some of us might not be able to spend as much as we used to with this economy; we'll continue the fight and do what we can to help out. Please support the CRA, they need all of us to show we care and we need them to be our voice out there. See you all at the Tampa Cigar Heritage Festival!

CAIN is IN the house!
Last night at Tobacco Depot I finally got around to try the new Oliva Cain and I was not disappointed. Cain is blended with a ligero filler consisting of ligero from Esteli, Condega, and the Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua, triple fermented for smoothness and superb flavor. The first half had a spicy, cedary flavor building up to a smooth and heady finish that will leave you fully satisfied for the night. Kudos to Sam and to the Olivas for another winner!

Smoking a cigar is nothing like smoking a cigarette. When you smoke a cigar, you have time to think. It teaches you patience and tolerance, and gives you an appreciation of good company.

Thompson Cigar

"Smoking a cigar gives you a chance to sit back and take things slow for a bit. You can wipe all of the day's thoughts out of  your brain for that short period and just relax and enjoy the peace"
