Cuesta Rey Clock Tower

A Symbol Of Tampa's Cigar Heritage

Back in December 2005 we had the opportunity to visit Eric Newman, president of J.C. Newman Cigars, at the Cuesta Rey cigar factory, where he showed us the clock mechanism and told us about the history of the clock tower and the process of restoring it to its former glory, and also share with us a lot of the history of Cuesta Rey and the Newman family while admiring the display cases of memorabilia adorning the walls of the room.
