A former UPS store inspired D.C. Goutoufas to open a cigar lounge where people could access their lockers for a smoke 24
hours a day. Gaspar's operates as a normal cigar lounge during the day, with a coffee bar and TVs. Late night, Goutoufas locks
up the retail area with a metal partition and lets members come and go using an access code. 3765 S West Shore Blvd., Tampa,
(813) 831-0100 Owner Don Barco describes his shop as a microcosm of what Ybor used to be. Customers can smoke a cigar, get a shave in
the barber shop, order a Cuban sandwich in the cafe or sip port at the bar. Founded in 1938, the store carries a good selection
of guayaberas, panama hats and humidors. The patio area makes for great people-watching along Seventh Avenue. 1523 E Seventh
Ave., Ybor City, (813) 241-9109 Founded in 1929 by Guy and Mary Saitta, El Sol is considered the oldest cigar store in Tampa. Grandson Robert Saitta runs
the business today, selling and shipping El Sol Cigars made in small factories in Tampa, Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican
Republic. Also available: antique cigar cutters and boxes and cigar label T-shirts. Old photos of the family making cigars
grace the walls. 1728 E Seventh Ave., Ybor City, (813) 248-5905 There's no specific place to light up, but customers are welcome to test drive a new purchase. The store sells it all,
from lighters to cutters to humidors and other cigar accessories. Antoinette Capitano and her family run the business, which
was founded by her husband, Sonny Capitano Jr., about 15 years ago. The family is friends with Bill Cosby, who's been known
to stop by every so often for a chat and a smoke. 2014 E Seventh Ave., Ybor City, (813) 248-3304 This cigar lounge has comfy leather couches, chess tables and even a big TV set up with Guitar Hero. On weekends,
passersby can watch a cigar roller at work in the front window. 1600 E Eighth Ave., Centro Ybor, (813) 418-6937 Former cigar salesman Pedro Rivero Jr. brought a little bit of Ybor to Carrollwood with the recent opening of Club Habano.
The cigar store and lounge serves wine, beer and sangria, made with a secret ingredient Rivero only tells his customers. The
shop has domino tables, leather couches and big-screen televisions. The smell of Spanish cedar, not cigar smoke, fills the
air. 11642 N Dale Mabry Highway, Carrollwood, (813) 269-0400 Fenomenal espresso, nice ambiance, friendly staff, comfortable sitting, and a very popular dominoes table makes this THE
cigar shop to be if you're in the Westchase area. I always enjoy having coffee and cigars and chat with Don Angelo, an Ybor
City man all the way, full of stories from Tampa's glory days as the Cigar Capital of the world. They even have cigar
smoking seminars on Thursday nights! 11655 Countryway Blvd. • Tampa, FL 33626 • (813) 852-6777 Back in Februay of 2007, Angelo & Elio Vera must have decided that was the last winter they were going to spend in
windy Chicago. Lucky for us, they decided to give up their very profitable barbershop business, move to Clearwater, and put
their extensive knowledge of cigars to good use. Two years have passed and things couldn't be better for the hard-working
Vera brothers: a giant screen TV and plenty of comfy chairs for those incline to watch movies or sports, high quality cigars,
excellent coffee and you might get to see their cigar roller in action. Truly a cigar shop for the cigar aficionado! 29140
US Highway 19 N, Clearwater, FL, 727-784-1676 A great place to kick back and relax in a cozy atmosphere with fine art adorning the walls. Scott and Bonnie have done
a great job renovating this shop and bringing in plenty of cigars. A block away from So. Howard, it's the perfect place to
go after dinner at any of the fine SoHo restaurants, or just to bring your laptop and get some work done while enjoying your
favorite cigar. Home of the Largest Walk-In Humidor in the Southeast. it features a 2,500 Square ft smoking lounge and a 1,500 sq ft Walk-In
Humidor. Beer, wine, sodas, and espresso are available at their U-shaped bar, and there is plenty of comfortable Leather
Seating and 5 flat -screen TV's to keep you entertained. 1418 E. Busch Blvd #105, Tampa, Fl, 800-990-8535
The Cigar Castle - Temple Terrace
Located on 56th near Fowler Ave., this cigar store has the biggest humidor in the West Coast, and its owners are quite
friendly. Their cigar lounge has leather chairs galore and the biggest screen TV's you'll find in any cigar shop. Their
events are always fun!
