Reunion Details
Yes, Green Knights, it’s time to come home to where our journey started 40 years ago.
The
committee has been busy the past 8 months tracking down classmates and planning a weekend of
activities to make your trip back a memorable one. There will be lots of good food, drink,
entertainment, reminiscing, and most all, lots of hugs, laughter, and tears as we share our life
experiences from the past 40 years.
Current plans include:
Friday, September 28, 2007
7:30 pm - Casual Get-together (pay your own bill) at Timothy’s on the Waterfront (part of the Riverfront
Attractions/Shipyard Shops near Frawley Stadium, South Madison Street, Wilmington)
Saturday, September 29, 2007
10:30 am - Home football game at MPHS (Green Knights vs Pencader) followed by a tour of the high school (about 1:00 pm)
6:00 pm - Dinner/Dance with Cash Bar at Sheraton Suites, 422 Delaware Ave, Wilmington
Sunday, September 30, 2007
11:00 am - Group seating (pay your own bill) for Brunch at Washington Street Ale House,
1208 Washington Street, Wilmington (2 blocks from the hotel)
Your reservation form and check are due by September 1st. We need to hear from you! The 40th only happens once. Don’t let it pass by!
At the Saturday evening affair, pictures will be taken, put on a DVD and mailed to those who
attended. This DVD can be ordered now for those who are unable to attend (click here for a copy of the reunion letter and reservation form). If you are unable to attend and would like to send us a recent picture of yourself
or your family to be included on the DVD, please either e-mail it to Judie Baldini or send
it through regular mail along with the reservation form. Also, if you would like to include a
message to your classmates, we will be glad to display it at the reunion.
The Sheraton set up a personalized website for us to book, modify or cancel hotel reservations: Sheraton Suites Class of 1967 Reunion. Our block of rooms will be released on September 7th, so book now while you're thinking of it!
Click here for links and information on travel discounts; local transportation services in Downtown Wilmington; and activities, shopping, tours, & museums in the area for those of you who have not visited in a while. Be sure to
check out the Missing Classmates page, and let us know the whereabouts of anyone listed there.
We will be posting updates to the weekend’s events as the reunion approaches. If we
need to make a correction to your address, phone number, or e-mail, let us know on your Reservation Form or by e-mailing Judie Baldini.
It doesn’t matter where you are, it doesn’t matter where you go
If it’s a million miles away or just a mile up the road
Take it in, take it with you when you go
Who says you can’t go home.
