Replacing the gear shifter bushings. I am holding the shifter, new bushing and the retaining clip. The shift lever was slopping around and the shifts were not positive. The nylon bushing was completely worn away. 8/98 You can see the bushing location at the bottom of the shifter (#9). Also to the left is the pushrod (#8). Earl, my machinist friend redrilled, tapped, inserted a new stud and pinned the broken pushrod. Tomorrow I will take him and his boys some donuts. 8/98 State College Pa.
