So you found my web site!! Some of you are new to me and some of you may have been customers of mine since 1985. New or old you are all welcome to my virtual web store, YOUR online site for most anything related to coins. Here you will be treated fairly and with courtesy and respect and your order will be filled with the full quality advertised or better,and responded to in a timely manner. This is our mission here at AMERICOIN and a daily way of life.We will always do our best to help you and yours to enjoy this 'Hobby of Kings" to the fullest!
So who is AMERICOIN and what can we do for you? My introduction to coins was early and with a passion. My first blue Whitman coin folder was started in early 1954. I still have it, and along the way have learned to appreciate all coins, even the
most inexpensive wheat cent, foreign coin, or common token has an owner and something to say. Sure we handle some pricy stuff too but we are here for everyone and every pocketbook. And if you haven't noticed the links around, we will help you find the things you need...just ASK!
AMERICOIN became a reality when my renewed zest for the hobby started in 1983-84. I found that there were a lot of coins easily bought that I never saw in my change before. Soon I was a picker, and then a vest pocket guy working the tables at weekend shows.
Then I set up some auctions in the weekly coin magazines, and by 1985 had produced my first full description catalog, which I distributed nationally. The coining of the name for this company, AMERICOIN, followed shortly thereafter.
After several years cataloging and shipping thousands of coins, (and even doing some flea markets!), I began to attend public trade shows in 1989.

Since that time I found these a most rewarding way to work with people and coins. You may see me if you attend one of these shows in the Penn, Ohio, and West Va areas.. please say HI!!
And now with the ease of the computers, I guess we are retracing some steps since 1999 by again taking national orders. But this time there are no typewriters, no bottles of overly dry white out, no xeroxed inky hands, no publishing or shipping of fat lists or papercuts, and best of all...no waiting weeks for handwritten orders to come in. Now its is zip, flash, you got the cash...and, oh yeah where are my coins already!!
