Classes are in session September 8, 2009 through June 8, 2010. The Calendar provides 168 sessions for 5-day classes, 135 sessions for the 4-day class, 101 sessions for 3-day classes, and 67 sessions for 2-day classes.

Tuesday, Sept. 8
School opens for 5-day morning classes in the Rainforest and Ocean Rooms; 3-day Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday classes in Farm and Ocean Rooms; and 4-day afternoon class Ocean Room. Enrichment also begins today.

Thursday, Sept. 10
School starts for the 2-day Thursday - Friday classes for three and four year olds in the Ocean Room and for two year olds in the Farm Room.

During September, the class for two-year-olds gradually builds the time the children attend. Please call the school office for details.

Monday, Sept. 14
Lunch Bunch begins.

Friday, June 4
Last day of school for classes meeting Thursday - Friday classes in Ocean and Farm Rooms.

Tuesday, June 8
Last day of school for the Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday classes Ocean and Farm Rooms; for afternoon Ocean class; and for 5-day classes, Ocean and Rainforest Rooms.

Sept. 4 - Sept. 7: Labor Day Festival in Greenbelt.
GNS operates a Booth at the Festival. School families staff the Booth in shifts of two hours or more. On Monday, September 3, the School (children, parents, and staff) marches in the parade.
