Xisle: Electronic Music Trio


Xisle had consisted of Peter Gulch, Dana Rath, and Chuck van Zyl when they were together as a band. The band had specialized in using synthesizers and electronic processing devices and computers to make the genre of electronic music known as " floating, ambient, space music", which is a free form of composition utilizing sound scapes for mental imagery. They disbanded around 1995.

Recordings:

During their time together, Xisle had produced numerous audio cassettes and had performed live concerts in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and even gave a concert at the EMMA festival in Sheffield, England.

Released (March 2001) on Groove Records! Groove Records in the Netherlands has released one of the former double cassette albumns done by Xisle in 1991 entitled the Sound Museum. Check it out on the official Synkronos website. Or go directly to the Groove site and check their catalog.
