| SpltComb SpltComb is a way to split and combine large files. Launch it and Browse to a large file you want to split - let's say it is called large.abc. It will be split according to the "chunk" value shown on the program's main window. A chunk of 1400 (K) is good splitting files into pieces that can fit on a 1.44M floppy. Click "Split" and it will create files large.abc.1, large.abc.2 and so on. The original file will not be disturbed. To combine, Browse to file large.abc.1 and click "Combine". This will create one large file from the pieces (and in this case overwrite your large, original file because of the name similarity). Best of all, SpltComb is FREE and, and, AND the MFC source code is FREE (but copyrighted, of course). SpltComb is a 32 bit application tested on Win95. Click Here to see what SpltComb looks like.
