Richard H. Taylor has been Vice President of the Congregational Christian Historical Society since 1981, and is currently
Chair of the Historical Council of the United Church of Christ. He served as President of the Association of Statisticians
of American Religious Bodies from 1998 to 2001.
His articles, essays, and research have appeared in many journals and papers, as well as in publications of Pilgrim
Press,
Glenmary Press, and others.
An ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, he has served pastorates in Rhode Island, Michigan, Connecticut,
Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.
