Information about this Project

This website was started because NEL believes that the Euphoria programming language may be in jeopardy of being altered to the point where it will no longer be the mainstay of personal programming for millions of people, worldwide. These fears stem from the fact that RDS has released its latest versions of Euphoria in a totally "Freeware" fashion, without any limitation as is evident by their licensing agreement shown below. Additionally, they have released the frontend for the Euphoria's statement interpreter, so it may not be long from now before so many weird versions of Euphoria exist, that it may become a sham. Therefore, this site will not actively support versions of Euphoria past 2.4, although it will make certain files available for versions 2.5, and above, at a cost.

The older versions of the Euphoria language are far too valuable to be simply discarded. Therefore, NEL will do what it can to ensure they remain alive and well for many years to come.
