We're TEN years old this year....WOW
Where did the time go? Watch for a major site update
with lots of goodies!
After
a year and a half of experimenting with different equipment and formats, the
long-awaited digitizing of my Point Pleasant area historical collection is under
way. With some earlier technical setbacks behind me, I have progressed
with the scanning of the several thousand vintage negatives in my files.
This monumental project will also include high resolution scans of photographs,
documents and papers. Also included in this project will be the digitizing
of the massive map collection on file.
I will update the progress of this endeavor
periodically on the home page here, as well as provide samples of the work.

POSTCARDS, POSTCARDS
The Historic Postcard Page contains
links to thumbnails of post cards from my personal collection of Point Pleasant area cards.
These images each contain a brief caption describing the card and identifying
the view. As the post card images are added, the cards will be subdivided
into categories. The first category is titled "Greeting Cards/Aerial
Views." The scans will be of good quality and feel free to download
the cards for your use and pleasure. I will update the pages on a regular
basis as time allows. Just click on the Images Link and
then select Post Cards, or click here to
go directly to the page.
