CWRK’s MONTHLY CLUB MEETING

December 9th, Wednesday – CWRK’s December meeting will be at The Palm’s Supper Club. Social time begins at 6:00 p.m.  Club meeting begins at 6:30.

Treasurers Report – Balance as of November 11th is $2409.33.

CWRK’s 2^nd Annual Halloween Costume Party - Another fun filled event.  About 25 costume clad members had a great meal at The Palms Supper Club followed by the singing, dancing and a costume contest.  Jim Hornung, Jr. as a giant water drop took first place, Nick Nowak as Mad Max took second and Tom Nowak as Gandolf from Lord of the Rings took third.  Club characters partied the night away and concluded the event at bar time.  See photos at www.cwrk.com

FUTURE NEWS

The Spark Plug Program is ongoing.  Remember, the club member inducting the most new members receives a $50.00 gift certificate from The Palm’s. This program runs June to June with the first certificate to be awarded June 2010.

January 1^st kicks off the Children’s Miracle Network fun drive.  This is a football type of raffle to raise money for the CMN.  It is a 50/50 raffle with half the proceeds returned to winners and half the proceeds donated to CMN Memorial Day Weekend. No member participation is required but if you are interested in helping be sure to come to the December meeting.  It has been determined that if every member completed just one raffle sheet CWRK could donate $2775.00 to the Children’s Miracle Network and give $2775 in prizes back to the participants winners. Raffle sheets will be printed on the back of Decembers newsletter

Please keep in mind that the club is always interested in your ideas.  The February bowling party date is to be announced.  Also keep in mind any 2010 Brag n’ Boast locations you think would be interesting. However, Doc’s HD road-trip, the Highlands road-trip and Elmer’s road-trip suggestions provided little interest at last months meeting. If you are interested in any of these or other trips please offer your interest at a future club meeting.
