From February 19 until March 2, Gertrude's will celebrate Vivat! with a unique menu that combines Slavic and African American food for an unprecedented fusion of flavors. Enjoy fried chicken kiev with kale, cornbread blinis, and Russian cabbage rolls stuffed with rice and collard greens.

Gertrude's Dinner Performance: Performance artists Joyce Scott and Lorraine Whittlesey present a satirical take on the combination of Slavic and African-American cuisines, 8 p.m. Feb 22 at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
