REMOVING THE CROSSMEMBER TO ALLOW THE ENGINE TO BE REMOVED WITH THE TRANSMISSION
ANYTHING ELSE TO CUT??? MAYBE LATER...
AFTER A BRIEF ROAD TRIP, WE GOT A ENGINE HOIST ATTACHMENT THAT WOULD ALLOW
US TO ANGLE THE ENGINE FORWARD OR BACKWARD AS NEEDED TO CLEAR THE CAR. WE
STILL WOULD HAVE NEEDED TO REMOVE THE CROSSMEMBER TO REMOVE THE ENGINE AND
TRANSMISSION AS ONE PIECE.
WHILE LIFING THE ENGINE, IT GOT CAUGHT ON THE FRAME PORTION OF THE MOTOR
MOUNT AND IT WOULD NEED TO BE SHAKEN LOOSE.
NOW IT IS WORKING
IT IS CLEAR OF THE MOTOR MOUNTS
ALMOST THERE
NOW TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE V8
NOW TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO WITH ALL OF THE WIRES FOR THE CAR
NOW IT IS READY TO BE DELIVERED TO THE NEW OWNER OF THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION.
BEHIND THE TRANSMISSION IS THE NEW FUEL CELL THAT WILL SHOW UP IN A LATER
UPDATE.
