This is an update for the last 2 weeks. Since we do not have all of the parts for the engine,
we decided to work on the interior of the car since we need to get that done
too.
As you can see, the car is prepared for paint. Chris spent the better
part of a day doing that while I made the garage more workable since the
garage had been untouched since the shelves were built in October. I
also had to locate parts that were missing.
This is the car primered using a spray gun that attached to the compressor.
It turned out better than we expected. We may end up painting
the entire car with it if time gets short.
This is with the roll bar installed. We still have 8 bolts to go, but
it is strong and will not move. The frame in the center is for the
fuel cell. I need to build straps and bolt tabs to hold it down, but
I can do that next week.
