NGC-3718 and the Hickson 56 group in Ursa Major

In the group of galaxies at top of image from right to left is Hickson 56a (edge-on UGC-6527) The elongated peculiar galaxy is 56b the two close ellipticals are 56c+d and the elliptical on the left is 56e 90 minute exposure on hypersensitized Kodak Tech Pan film 10" f/6 Newtonian telescope Date of exposure: 4-23/24-93 South is up in this photo
