Prior to founding TC in 1990, Paul Turok wrote monthly classical recording review columns for Music Journal and Ovation Magazine. He was also a regular contributer of classical record articles to the New York Times Sunday Edition, Section 2 (Arts and Leisure) and a frequent guest critic on WQXR's nationally-syndicated radio show, First Hearing .


Turok's orchestral works have been premiered by the Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra,  Indianapolis Symphony,  New Jersey Symphony,  Louisville Orchestra, Kennedy Center Orchestra,  Philharmonia Virtuosi and performed by dozens of others worldwide.

His chamber music has been premiered at Lincoln Center's Tully Hall, Library of Congress and Cleveland's Severance Hall. Foreign premieres have taken place in  Paris,Tokyo and Bogata.
