Do you really need math?
Why do I need math? You probably ask yourself that question all
the time. Well, the answer is that you need math just to get through everyday life. It is impossible to get through
a normal day without using some type of math. The world revolves around numbers.
- How much time do you have to get to school?
- How much more money do you need to buy the sneakers that you want?
- how much change should you get when you buy candy at the candy store?
- How long will it take you to get from one place to another?
- how much paint will you need to cover the walls of a room that you are
painting?
These are all questions that can be answered using math. How do you
think batting averages and basketball free throw percentages are determined? None of this would be possible without
math. It all adds up to this. Math is all around us!
