Syzygy I

Syzygy I is a relationsip obtained by one of three blue Gauge Waveforms whose Polar Triangles are immediately adjacent to the Polar Triangle of the Tone Waveform.

Syzygy I has one plane of symmetry that intersects only the 108 degree angles of its two Waveforms. Along this plane of symmetry, Major Seconds (whole steps) and Major Thirds (two whole steps) and their respective inversions, Major Sevenths and Major Sixths, are measured.

Syzygy I (1): A - C sharp - D sharp - G - A
Syzygy I (2): C sharp - F - G - B - C sharp
Syzygy I (3): F - A - B - D sharp - F

You can can observe these meaurements by clicking the blue rectangle with the music note. Clicking a blue vertical "w" icon will change the particular syzygy and what the rectangle will play.

Syzygy VI is the complimentary oppisite of Syzygy I, because it does the same interval calculations, but with 60 degree angles instead of 108. 60 degree angles are in asymmetrical relationship with  Syzygy I. However, there is an asymmetrical musical function and that will be examined in the next section.
