Quartz Hill Presbyterian Church was organized in 1985 as a congregation  of the Presbyterian Church (USA), We are a member of the San Fernando Presbytery  and the Synod of Southern California and Hawaii. As Presbyterians we enjoy a heritage which reaches back to the Reformation in Switzerland and Scotland in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and beyond to the Church of the Apostles and Pentecost.

The Reverend Otis Cross was our organizing pastor, After accepting a call from another church, Mr. Cross left in 1989. The Reverend Gary Dart was called to be the interim pastor. In 1991 The Reverend Ren Adams was installed as our pastor and served the church until 2002 when he was called to be a chaplain in Fresno . The Reverend Bob Frisbee served as an interim pastor until June 2003. At that time we were happy to have the Reverend Juan Sarmiento become our pastor.
