Meyer was a licensed taxidermist for more than 30 years.  His work was featured across the country at places like Safari Club International's Museum in Tucson, Arizona, the World Wildlife Museum in San Francisco, California, and The Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  His work was comprised of approximately 70% North American species, 25% African, and 5% Exotics.
