The Meadows Racetrack and Casino
(2009 - ?)

This is the first Adios Day at The Meadows Racetrack and Casino. The original Adios Pace for the Orchids was in 1967 and has continued to this very day. Only once has another track other than the Meadows hosted the event. Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs hosted the 2008 edition of the Adios.

Start of the Adios

 

Adios race near the 3/8 in with Mr. Wiggles first up and Well Said 2nd over.

 

Adios race with Well Said on the lead and Mr. Wiggles in the pocket as they are near 5/8 in. Vintage Master is 3rd over in 7th.

 

As they turn for home at the top of the stretch.

Stretch run of the Adios with Well Said being passed by Mr. Wiggles and the flying Vintage Master just getting into the picture on left.

Vintage Master and Daniel Dube go flying by to the wire, winning Adios XLIII!

 

Jimmy Takter with thumbs up in the winner circle. Please note the man without a suit jacket and tie, in between the trophy and driver is Mike Jeannot. As of 09.01.09, he manages the food service and racing product at the Meadows. The Adios is not worthy of Mr. Jeannot of wearing his tie and suit jacket.
