Typically, the only difference between a wedding and a commitment ceremony (civil, religious, or spiritual ) is the wording of each ceremony.

Remember, it is your ceremony and I am here to assist you in making the day memorable. I am here to help you build the ceremony of your dreams.  The only absolute in the ceremony is the section where we say "I now pronounce you ......" 

 

Example Ceremonies

There are modifications that can be made to each ceremony such as:

  • Table ceremonies for the Turkish tradition
  • Bi or tri lingual ceremonies where everything is translated into many languages as the ceremony progresses (you supply the translater)
  • Inclusion of Orthodox triple phrases
  • Addition of dates and honey or salt and bread for Muslim or Lithuanian traditions
  • Replacement of sand for unity candles
