#2541 1/6 Daguerreotype, proud father with his young son

Great ANSON 1/6 daguerreotype (2.75" by 3.25") of a proud father with his young son holding a velvet hat with tassel. Plate is stamped "ANSON" and has an H.B.H hallmark, case pad is stamped "ANSON 589 BROADWAY NY". Excellent tonality and contrast. Housed in excellent ANSON case with a nice leather repaired spine. Condition: some light mat abrasions on the left and several teeny marks between father and son which actually reflect off the plate. New glass and archival seal. $415
