#2993 1/6 Daguerreotype young boy made to wear an off-shoulder dress

Sixth plate (2.75" by 3.25") daguerreotype of a young boy made to wear an off-shoulder dress, striped bloomers and neat little shoes. He is a cute lad though, it makes you wonder how much he was embarrassed by the photo later on in his life. Housed in an excellent full case, intact spine, and just minor wear. CONDITION: some mat marks, most notably at six and seven-thirty o'clock otherwise the plate is excellent. New glass and sealed with P90. $595
