#2774 1/4 & 1/6 Plate Daguerreotypes two different shots of the same cute little boy

Excellent quarter plate (3 1/4" by 4 1/4") and sixth plate (2 3/4" by 3 1/4") daguerreotypes. These are two different shots of the same cute little boy holding a small cane. Both are housed in full cases with some wear. The sixth plate has an original spine, the quarter plate has nice repaired leather spine. CONDITION: Condition: both plates are excellent with just a small amount of tarnish, no scratches/dings/green spots. The contrast on the sixth plate is excellent, the quarter plate is just a little less but still very good. The quarter plate does have a small notch of glass missing in the very top left corner, it does not effect the dag packet. Both plates have been sealed by a previous owner. If desired I could replace the glass and reseal the quarter plate. $850.00
